According to a new survey, 81% of people would rather stay in and have a nice home-cooked meal on Valentine's Day . . . than to go out to eat.

73% think it's more personal, thoughtful and caring to eat a meal that's been prepared by their partner . . . and 64% think eating in is more intimate and special.

OK, I actually agree with just about everything here. It is more intimate and special to stay in and eat a home-cooked meal that was prepared by your lady. But isn't the point of Valentine's Day that you're supposed to enjoy each other's company without having to worry about stuff like cooking and doing the dishes? I mean, don't you deal with that stuff every other day of the year?
