Actor CHRIS KLEIN has checked into rehab, after getting his second DUI in five years. --He's being treated at the Cirque Lodge in Utah . . . which, as you may recall, did such an awesome job on LINDSAY LOHAN. --Klein's rep says, quote, "After recent events, Chris was forced to take a clear look at a problem he has been trying to deal with himself for years. He understands now that he can not beat this disease alone. --"He thanks everyone for their support as he takes all the necessary steps to deal with his addiction and asks for privacy while doing so."

JAMES FRANCO DOESN'T CARE IF PEOPLE THINK HE'S GAY:

JAMES FRANCO has done two gay roles in the past few years . . . first alongside SEAN PENN in "Milk" in 2008 . . . and then in a movie called "Howl" that's coming out in September. --Obviously, that led to rumors that James IS gay. And James would like you to know that he doesn't really care. --He says, quote, "The worst downside, and I don't consider this a downside, the worst thing that anybody could say is that I was gay and if somebody said that I guess they would be wrong. --"But I also wouldn't care and as far as being typecast, that's not the case. Nonetheless I would be happy to play 100 gay roles as long as they were always good parts."

WAS JEREMY LONDON REALLY PARTYING WITH THE GUY HE CLAIMS KIDNAPPED HIM???

The man who's in jail for allegedly kidnapping actor JEREMY LONDON and forcing him to smoke either crack or meth claims that he and Jeremy were actually PARTYING together. --An attorney for 26-year-old Brandon Adams says, quote, "Mr. Adams was helping Mr. London change a flat tire. A police officer witnessed Mr. Adams helping Mr. London. --"Mr. London was with Mr. Adams voluntarily, they had partied together [on the evening of the alleged abduction.] An investigation is currently pending and I'm confident that a jury will find that the allegations are just not true." (--Police are still looking for two other alleged suspects.) --Here's another interesting twist to this case: Jeremy's lawyer has sent a cease-and-desist order to both Jeremy's mother and his twin brother, JASON LONDON, asking them to stop talking about this chaos in the media. --The letter states, quote, "The information you are providing is false and your behavior is reckless." --Meanwhile, RadarOnline.com is reporting that both Jeremy and his estranged wife Melissa recently lost custody of their 3-year-old son, due to their ongoing battles with drugs. The kid is currently being raised by Melissa's mother.

But you can breathe easy . . . he's going to be okay. --Initially, nothing was known about Carrot Top's condition . . . so rumors started going around that something bad had happened. Luckily, it was all blown out of proportion. --A rep for THE TOP issued a statement yesterday saying, quote, "He's fine and resting at home. It was food poisoning and the resulting dehydration that made him drive himself to a hospital. --"Fluids were put into his system for a few hours, and then he was released. All is well."

TIGER WOODS SAID HE WOULD NEVER MISS ANOTHER ONE OF HIS KIDS' BIRTHDAYS . . . BUT HE DID ON FRIDAY:

Back in April, just before the Masters Tournament, TIGER WOODS did a lot of apologizing. --One of the things he said he regretted the most was that his RESTLESS GROIN SYNDROME caused him to be in rehab for his son Charlie's first birthday. And he vowed to NEVER miss another one of his kids' birthdays. --He said, quote, "Because of the time frame of it, I missed my son's first birthday and that hurts. That hurts a lot and I vowed I'd never miss another one after that. I can't go back to where I was. --"I want to be a part of my son's life and my daughter's life going forward and I missed his first birthday. I mean, that was very hard that day and something I regret and I probably will for the rest of my life." --Well, this past Friday, Tiger's daughter Sam turned 3. And according to RadarOnline.com, Tiger wasn't with her. --Tiger was, of course, playing in the U.S. Open in Pebble Beach, California . . . while his wife, ELIN NORDEGREN, was having a party for her at home in Florida.

"AMERICAN IDOL" HAS LOWERED THEIR MINIMUM AGE LIMIT:

A lot of people have been calling for "American Idol" to make some significant changes this season to keep things fresh . . . and now, we know they'll be making at least one: Idol" will be lowering its minimum age limit from 16 to 15. --Executive producer Cecile Frot-Coutaz explains, quote, "A lot of young, talented people are now seeking careers and representation before they turn 16. Lowering the age limit allows us to tap into this talent pool." --The maximum age will remain at 28. (--This is interesting. In the nine-season history of "Idol", FOUR teenagers have either won or came in second . . .) (--They are: Season Three winner FANTASIA BARRINO, 19 . . . Season Three runner-up DIANA DEGARMO, 16 . . . Season Six winner JORDIN SPARKS, 17 . . . and Season Seven runner-up DAVID ARCHULETA, 17.) (--Maybe "Idol" is just hoping to land the next JUSTIN BIEBER. Who knows.) --By the way, there's still no word on who . . . if anyone . . . will be replacing SIMON COWELL. And that decision may not come in time for this year's auditions, which are scheduled to begin on July 17th in Nashville. (--In that case, a revolving door of guest judges would probably sit in, just like they did last year before ELLEN DEGENERES was brought onboard.) --Five other audition cities have been announced: Milwaukee on July 21st, New Orleans on July 26th, East Rutherford, New Jersey, on August 3rd, Austin on August 11th and San Francisco on August 19th. (--For more audition details, hit up AmericanIdol.com, here . . .)

(--Then, each game was averaging 2.9 million viewers.) --13 million people watched the USA's first game . . . the infamous 1-to-1 tie against England. LADY GAGA *DOES* FEEL NORMAL SOMETIMES . . . AND WHEN THAT HAPPENS, SHE SNAPS HERSELF OUT OF IT:

LADY GAGA is on the cover of the new issue of "Rolling Stone", which hits newsstands TOMORROW. In the interview, she says that, in some ways, she still feels like Stefani Germanotta . . . the normal girl she was BEFORE "Lady Gaga." (CAREFUL!!!)--She says, quote, "When I wake up in the morning, I feel just like any other insecure 24-year-old girl. Then I say, 'Bitch, you're Lady Gaga, you get up and walk the walk today.'" --But that doesn't mean she plans on revealing any of that to her fans. She adds, quote, "If I were to ever, God forbid, get hurt onstage and my fans were screaming outside of the hospital, waiting for me to come out . . . I'd come out as Gaga. --"I don't even drink water onstage in front of anybody, because I want them to focus on the fantasy of the music." --Lady Gaga says she's almost finished with her next album . . . quote, "I've been working on it for months now, and I feel very strongly that it's finished right now. It came so quickly. Some artists take years . . . I don't. I write music every day." --She's planning on unveiling the title at midnight on New Year's Eve . . . and possibly in a very unique way. She says, quote, "I think I'm gonna get the album title tattooed on me and put out the photo." --Lady Gaga says the new music will be a little more political. She says, quote, "Why are we still talking about 'Don't ask, don't tell'? It's like, what (effing) year is it? It makes me crazy! --"And I have been for three years baking cakes . . . and now I'm going to bake a cake that has a bitter jelly. The message of the new music is now more bitter than it was before. Because the sweeter the cake, the more bitter the jelly can be." --The album is expected to come out early next year.

IS TEEN STARDOM STUNTING JUSTIN BIEBER'S GROWTH?

JUSTIN BIEBER is just 5-foot, 5-inches tall. He's still only 16 years old, but Justin thinks he missed his growth spurt . . . and he's blaming it on his WORK ETHIC. --He says, quote, "It wasn't overnight, I put in a lot of time on the road going to radio stations at 6:00 A.M. and singing, all in the middle of my growth spurt. Thanks to the music industry, I'm going to be really short." (--And thanks to the music industry, Justin can probably retire now and never work another day in his life . . . after roughly TWO YEARS of growth-stunting work. I guess you win some and you lose some, right?)

He was 38. --The autopsy report also mentioned that Paul suffered from, quote, "significant heart disease" . . . although it's unclear if that played any role in his death. (--The hotel employee who called 911 told the operator that there was a hypodermic needle and a bottle of pills near his body.)

NAZZY’S RANDOM STUFF

INTRODUCING THE LATEST WEDDING TREND: BRIDES WHO WEAR DIAPERS UNDER THEIR DRESSES:

I never really thought about this before, but it's got to be REALLY tough for the bride to use the bathroom at her wedding. I'm thinking it's a five-bridesmaid job just holding up the dress to keep it from touching the water . . . or, even worse, the floor. -Well . . . according to "Marie Claire" magazine, there's a new bridal trend that's solving that problem: BRIDES WEARING DIAPERS. --Apparently, some bridal shops are recommending that women wear specially-made bridal diapers if their wedding dress takes 20 minutes to get in and out of. --Jennette Kruszka is a wedding dress expert . . . she says that if you are thinking about going with bridal diapers, quote, "Please wear it to your fittings so you can ensure the gown fits properly." (Marie Claire)

NATIONAL HOLLERIN’ CONTEST

Organizers of the 42nd annual National Hollerin’ Contest in North Carolina said turnout was high with 27 competitors and hundreds of spectators. Chief organizer Wayne Edwards said people from across the country came Saturday to Spivey’s Corner to share their best hollers, hoots, yodels and bellows to benefit the Spivey’s Corner Volunteer Fire Department. Tony Peacock of Silver City, North Carolina, said he was surprised his hollering rendition of Gershwin’s “Summertime” earned him the top prize. Sheila Frye, who won the women’s competition for the fourth time, said the key to a good holler is preparation. She says it doesn’t hurt to be “committed to the tradition.”

WALLET LOST 50 YEARS AGO FOUND

Henry Heidman’s long-lost wallet has been found. A construction worker spotted the billfold in a closet at a Bellingham, Washington, school. It’s been there for more than 50 years. Whatcom Middle School Principal Jeff Coulter says the wallet contains everything you’d expect a 14-year-old to have in 1956 or ‘57. There are YMCA and student cards inside listing eighth-grader Henry Heidman as the owner. The century old school is being cleaned out after a fire closed it last November. Coulter searched the Internet for the owner of the wallet and found Heidman’s cousin, who put him in touch with Heidman.

WOMAN SETS WING-WALKING RECORD

A Tulsa, Oklahoma, woman set a new world endurance record by wing walking four hours above San Francisco on a World War II-era biplane. Wearing an iPod, Ashley Battles stood, walked, stretched and danced to Christian music from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday on the 33-foot wing of a Super 450 Boeing Stearman, breaking the previous wing-walking record of 3 hours, 23 minutes set by a Frenchman in 1990. Battles reportedly endured hurricane-force winds, frigid temperatures and bugs, but she said her biggest worry was birds. “One bird is all it takes to kill me,” she said. “The force would just crush everything in my body. I get covered with millions of bugs, but I hold my breath every time I see a bird.” Battles studied at Oklahoma State University to be a pilot but became bored and turned to wing-walking.

IF YOU WANT TO SEDUCE A WOMAN, BUST OUT SOME BRYAN ADAMS OR AIR SUPPLY:

There's a reason that painfully cheesy love ballads have been PRINTING MONEY for almost a century now. It's because they WORK. --A new study in Paris found that women find men more attractive if there's a love song playing than they do if there's a rap, heavy metal or rock song on. --Researchers also found that a woman was TWICE as likely to give a guy her number when the background music in the room was a love ballad. (Cosmos Magazine)

HERE'S WHAT IT MEANS IF YOU DREAM ABOUT HYBRID CARS, EBAY, IPODS, OR OPRAH:

There are tons of books out there that can help you interpret your dreams. But they only talk about symbols like bananas or cucumbers or loaves of bread or all the other long, firm objects I always dream about. --So what happens if you dream about some kind of new technology? Kelly Sullivan Walden is a dream interpretation expert, and she put together this list of 11 popular 21st century dreams and what they mean. Enjoy . . .

#1.) Spam. A dream about spam email shows you're struggling with boundaries. You feel that people you don't really like are imposing on you.

#2.) Oprah. If you dream about OPRAH WINFREY, it shows that you're ready to make a bold move, since she's a symbol of generosity and inspiration.

#3.) In Vitro Fertilization. Dreaming about in vitro fertilization shows you're finally ready to assert yourself at work or in a relationship . . . and you're sick of taking "no" for an answer.

#4.) iPod/iTunes. If you dream about music playing, it shows you're taking control of your feelings, emotions, and thoughts.

#5.) Match.com. Dreaming about Internet dating shows you're ready to start expanding your circle . . . either romantically, socially, or career-wise.

#6.) eBay. Dreaming about buying or selling stuff on eBay shows you're seeing unlimited opportunities out in the world.

#7.) Hybrid cars. If you dream about a hybrid car, it's because you feel like you need to start saving YOUR resources . . . like time, money and energy.

#8.) Email. Email in a dream is usually a sign that there's a lot of unwanted or fake intimacy with the people in your life.

#9.) The Internet. Dreaming about the Internet shows you're feeling connected to lots of people, and you feel like they can help you find the solutions you need.

#10.) Text messaging. A text message in a dream means you've been dancing around the idea of telling something important to someone . . . and you really just want to come out and say it quickly and to the point.

#11.) Cell phones. Pay attention to who you're talking to on the cell phone in your dream, and how the reception is. If it's someone close to you but you're having trouble hearing each other on the phone, that's a not-so-thinly-veiled metaphor.

CALIFORNIA MIGHT SWITCH TO DIGITAL LICENSE PLATES . . . THAT SHOW ADS WHEN A CAR'S AT A RED LIGHT:

We may be taking another step closer to that horrible-looking future where every single possible surface is covered in advertising. --Here's the latest. The state of California is considering switching its license plates from good old-fashioned convict-stamped metal license plates, to digital displays. --When you're driving, the digital display shows your license plate number. But when you're stopped for more than four seconds in traffic or at a red light . . . your license plate starts displaying ADVERTISING MESSAGES. --And of course, you don't get a cut of that. All the money will go to California . . . where the state legislature is still trying to figure out what the hell they're going to do about their $19 BILLION deficit. --On the good side, the digital plates could also display Amber Alerts if there's a kidnapping. --Right now, the state legislature is considering a bill that could start a research and testing phase on these license plates. There's no word on when they'd be implemented. (NBC - San Diego)

THERE'S SOME IDIOT ON TWITTER WHO WILL DO WHATEVER YOU TELL HIM TO DO FOR THE NEXT WEEK:

29-year-old David Perez of Chicago works for a big-time ad agency called Leo Burnett. And from what we can tell, he's their WHIPPING BOY. -For the next week, David is at a huge advertising festival in Cannes, France. And Leo Burnett flew him there under one condition: He has to sit there on Twitter and do WHATEVER the people on Twitter tell him to do, 24 hours a day. --There are two catches, though. He won't break the law . . . so if you tell him to go steal the Mona Lisa from the Louvre, he'll probably ignore you. And he says he doesn't want to do anything that will, quote, "make [his] mom wince too hard." --He just started yesterday . . . and so far, it looks like people got him drunk . . . then made him get a tattoo of Twitter's whale mascot. --If you want to make this guy do something stupid, just Tweet it to @DavidOnDemand. --And he's wearing a webcam on his glasses, so you can watch a live feed of him doing your task at http://www.davidondemand.com. (ABC News)

IN JAPAN, COUPLES ARE ENDING THEIR MARRIAGES WITH "DIVORCE CEREMONIES":

A wedding happens with friends, family, a big ceremony and a big party. A divorce happens in a room with a couple of lawyers and a giant pile of paperwork. In Japan, there's a guy trying to even out that equation. --Hiroki Terai is a businessman in Tokyo who's started offering couples DIVORCE CEREMONIES. The couple comes, along with family and friends . . . they SMASH their wedding rings, have a party, and celebrate moving on with their lives. --So far, he's had about 25 couples pay $600 to have a divorce ceremony . . . and he says he's got about 900 more who want a part of it. --The last couple both say it felt great. The 33-year-old man, who's only been identified by his last name Fuji, says, quote, "By putting an end to our [eight-year] marriage, we wanted to give ourselves fresh starts." --When he and his now-ex-wife smashed their rings, he says, quote, "I felt like 'oh, this is the end of it, really' and my heart and soul felt renewed. Now I feel I can have a new life and start all over again." --His ex-wife felt the same way, quote, "The moment I saw the smashed ring, I said to myself, 'Yes! That feels so good.'"(Yahoo News)

FOUR HABITS FOR HEALTHIER BREASTS:

It's pretty much universally agreed that breasts are awesome. So take care of them, ladies. Here are four healthy breast habits that could save your life . . .

#1.) STAY ACTIVE. Exercise lowers your level of estrogen, which is linked to breast cancer. It's best to get an hour of cardio four or five days a week, but even 30 minutes of MODERATE exercise can make a difference.

#2.) LOSE WEIGHT AND KEEP IT OFF. After menopause, you're twice as likely to develop breast cancer if you're obese. And even if you've been thin your whole life, gaining 20 pounds increases your risk.

#3.) TAKE VITAMIN D. In a recent study, breast cancer patients who were deficient in vitamin D were 94% more likely to have their cancer spread.

#4.) DRINK LIGHTLY, OR DON'T DRINK AT ALL. A new report from the National Cancer Institute says that women who have one or two drinks a day increase their risk of the most common form of breast cancer by 32%. --And MORE than two drinks a day increases your risk by 51% (Prevention.com)

LACK OF PAID SICK DAYS TAKES A SIGNIFICANT TOLL

Government data show that more than 40 million U.S. workers do not have paid sick days, and many more do not have paid sick days that they can use to care for a sick child or family member. Nearly one in six people polled say they’ve lost a job for taking time off from work to care for a sick child or family member, or to cope with their own illness. The survey, conducted by the National Opinion Research Center at the University of Chicago, finds that the lack of paid sick days is harming our public health, and straining the nation’s health care system:

· 55% of workers without paid sick days have gone to work with a contagious illness like the flu, compared to 37% of workers with paid sick days.
· People without paid sick days are twice as likely as those with paid sick days to use hospital emergency rooms (20% vs. 10%) because they “were unable to take off from work to get medical care during normal job hours.”
· Nearly twice as many workers without paid sick days (24%) have sent a sick child to school or daycare than workers with paid sick days (14%).
