VIDEO GAMER'S ARE BETTER THAN YOU

NO LIE: THERE'S A DECENT CHANCE THE AVERAGE VIDEO GAME PLAYER IS IN BETTER SHAPE THAN YOU:

I don't know about you, but when I imagine a typical video game player, I picture a chubby kid with bad skin. But according to a new survey of "EverQuest Two" players . . . which is an online fantasy role-playing game . . . that stereotype isn't very accurate. --So what does a typical video gamer look like?

#1.) The average gamer is in their 30s. And even though only ONE in FIVE players are female . . . the gamers who spend the most time playing tend to be women.

#2.) The average gamer spends 26 hours a week playing video games . . . but they spend about TEN fewer hours a week watching TV than the average American.

#3.) The average gamer works out once or twice a week . . . and is 10% thinner than the average American. (MSNBC)

(--Now for the downside: Video gamers, on average, are 50% more likely to suffer from depression, and are 20% more likely to have a substance abuse problem. Still . . . who knew video game players were in such good shape?)

IF YOU'RE A VIDEO GAME NERD, YOU'LL PROBABLY THINK THIS SERIES OF PICTURES IS HILARIOUS:

Are you a total video game nerd? If so, you'll probably think this series of pictures is hilarious . . . (Digg)

(--Basically, two kids standing in front of a blackboard, and they've drawn on the chalkboard to make it look like they're "fighting" video game-style.)
