THE OBAMA'S IN FRANCE

OBAMA GREETED FRANCE'S FIRST LADY, CARLA BRUNI, WITH A FIRM HANDSHAKE INSTEAD OF A KISS:

When it comes to greetings, I'm a big fan of the handshake. Then again, if I'm being greeted by a hot lady, I'm definitely OK with a hug or even a double-cheek-kiss . . . because why wouldn't I be?

So what am I getting at? Over the weekend, PRESIDENT OBAMA was in Strasbourg, France to attend a NATO summit with foreign leaders from all over the globe. Anyway, when the president and MICHELLE OBAMA arrived in France, a huge crowd of people were there to greet them . . . including France's president, NICOLAS SARKOZY, and his hot wife, CARLA BRUNI. But instead of seizing the opportunity to kiss Bruni . . . Obama shook her hand.

Then, to confuse matters even more, Obama allowed some random lady in the crowd to kiss-greet him just a few minutes later . . . although, admittedly, it was kind of awkward and Obama didn't seem all that comfortable with it. (Yahoo News)
