THAT BIRD CAN DANCE

IT'S A SCIENTIFIC FACT . . . SOME ANIMALS ACTUALLY *CAN* DANCE:

Now it's time to answer the all-important question: Can animals DANCE?

Well, according to a new study from the Neurosciences Institute in San Diego . . . which involved analyzing more than 1,000 YouTube videos (--yes, very scientific) . . . some animals actually CAN feel a tempo and dance to it.

How? Basically, certain animals have brains that are hardwired for something called "vocal mimicry" . . . which means they're able to mimic sounds they hear. Humans are wired for vocal mimicry and, according to the study . . . so are certain types of birds. And . . . get this . . . some elephants might be able to dance as well.

But the study found that dogs, cats and chimps . . . which are our closest relatives . . . cannot dance.
