LIVING TOGETHER?

***SHOULD YOU MOVE IN TOGETHER?***

So, you've been together for a while and you're thinking about taking the next step. A lot of couples move in together because splitting the rent makes financial sense . . . but moving in before you're READY can mean the end of the relationship . . .

--So, here are five things to ask yourself before you sign the lease . . .

#1.) HAVE YOU BEEN DATING LONG ENOUGH? Until you know someone really well, you aren't familiar with their little imperfections, and they don't know yours either. So, if you haven't been dating for AT LEAST six months, you should think twice.

#2.) HOW OFTEN DO YOU SLEEP OVER? If you don't stay over very often, you should try it before you move in, because it'll give you an idea of what to expect. If you're already staying over five nights a week, moving in might make sense.

#3.) ARE YOU BOTH THINKING LONG-TERM? If one of you thinks moving in will lead to an engagement, but the other just wants to do it for practical reasons, DON'T bother packing.
#4.) IS HALF YOUR STUFF ALREADY MOVED IN? A toothbrush is one thing, but if a lot of your clothing and toiletries are already at the other person's apartment, it shows that you're comfortable sharing space.

#5.) DO YOU WANT TO SPEND MORE TIME TOGETHER? It's a good sign if you're with the person A LOT, but it still isn't enough. Splitting rent and utilities will be nice, but wanting to see each other more often should be your MAIN motivation. (Cosmopolitan.com)
