WHY IS LEONARDO DICAPRIO TRYING TO DILUTE THE JEWISH RACE???

It's no secret that there are a lot of Jews in the entertainment industry. Which is why it wouldn't make sense for LEONARDO DICAPRIO to upset them by trying to DILUTE THE JEWISH RACE. --A right-wing Jewish group called Lehava thinks Leo is a threat to do just that. Although not on purpose.--A representative of the group named Baruch Marzel has written a letter to Leo's Israeli-born girlfriend, BAR REFAELI, urging her not to marry and reproduce with Leo. --He said, quote, "It is not by chance you were born Jewish. Your grandmother and her grandmother did not dream one of their descendants would remove future generations from the Jewish people. --"Assimilation has forever been one of the enemies of the Jewish people." --Marzel added that he has, quote, "nothing against Mr. DiCaprio, who I have no doubt is a talented actor." --But he closed out the letter saying, quote, "Come to your senses, look forward and back too - and not only the present. Don't marry Leonardo DiCaprio, don't harm the future generations."


DAVID SCHWIMMER IS ENGAGED:

Former "Friends" star DAVID SCHWIMMER is engaged to a British photographer named Zoe Buckman. There's no word on a wedding date. The two met while David was in London directing the comedy "Run Fatboy Run". --This will be the first marriage for both of them. He's 43 . . . she's 24.


KATIE HOLMES IS NOT PREGNANT:

There's a rumor going around that TOM CRUISE and KATIE HOLMES are pregnant again. NOT TRUE. --Katie's rep says, quote, "Katie is not pregnant." That is all.


COREY HAIM'S DEATH IS LINKED TO AN ILLEGAL PRESCRIPTION DRUG RING:

COREY HAIM may have been getting his meds thanks to an illegal prescription drug ring. --California Attorney General Jerry Brown says, quote, "Corey Haim's death is yet another tragedy linked to the growing problem of prescription-drug abuse. --"This problem is increasingly linked to criminal organizations, like the illegal and massive prescription-drug ring under investigation. It's a serious public health problem." --After Corey's death, four prescription drugs were found in his name in the apartment he shared with his mother. They were Vicodin, Valium, a muscle relaxer and an anti-anxiety medication. --A spokeswoman for the Attorney General's office says, quote, "We know there was a prescription pad stolen and there was a prescription written for him using that pad, so it was fraudulent and we know it was filled." --Here's how prescription drug rings like this operate: The crooks use stolen doctor identities to order prescription pads from vendors, then make money by selling them. --They sell the pads either directly to addicts, or to dealers who use them to obtain pills and then sell them on the black market. The doctors whose names are on the pads have no idea that people are using them to get pills. --It's not clear what Corey's illegal prescription was for. It's also not clear if Corey knew he was breaking the law. --Corey's mom, Judy Haim, has reportedly told investigators that Corey had been going to various "urgent care facilities" in order to obtain prescriptions. The cops are now investigating a list of clinics that she gave them. --Judy said that in the last months of Corey's life, she even called some of those facilities herself to ream them out for giving him so many pills.


THE CITY OF TORONTO WILL HELP PAY FOR COREY HAIM'S FUNERAL:

JUDY HAIM won't have to worry about paying the bill for her son COREY'S funeral. The city of Toronto is going to help cover the service . . . which is scheduled for tomorrow. (--Corey was from Toronto.) --Plus, an online memorabilia site called Startifacts.com is throwing in 20-grand for Judy to use however she wants. --Donations were also being sought via Corey's website . . . www.CoreyHaim.us . . . and his child actor buddy SCOTT SCHWARTZ has been helping Corey's mom sell some of his things on eBay. --Over the weekend, Corey's website noted that enough money had been raised to cover the funeral. But Schwartz is hoping that people will still dig into their pockets for Corey's family, because they pretty much have nothing. --He says, quote, "All these celebrities that are out there talking, tweeting about him, put your hand in your pocket. Ashton, cut the kid a check. Alyssa Milano, cut the family a check. His mother's going through radiation treatment." COURTNEY LOVE SAYS HER DAUGHTER HIT HER . . . BUT SHE NEVER HIT HER DAUGHTER:

COURTNEY LOVE talked to the "New York Daily News" this weekend about what led to her losing custody of her 17-year-old daughter, FRANCES BEAN COBAIN. It all started with an altercation at their New York City apartment last October. --She says, quote, "I was talking on the phone. Frances came out of my room. She was hysterical. First she was crying at my legs, saying, 'Why was I born?' Then she bites and scratches and pulls on my hair. She punched me. --"I grabbed her with both arms. That left a bruise and she took a picture of her bruise." --A so-called "witness" corroborates Courtney's story . . . saying, quote, "She never hit Frances. Not one time. All the punches were coming from Frances." --Courtney is barred from having direct communication with Frances. But she says they've been speaking lately through a mutual friend . . . Courtney's ex-boyfriend, EDWARD NORTON. --By the way . . . Courtney also says she's not worried about BILLY CORGAN making trouble if she releases two songs that they collaborated on. She says, quote, "Billy is talking out his ass. His people already gave permission."


PARAMEDICS WOULDN'T LET ELIN NORDEGREN RIDE IN THE AMBULANCE WITH TIGER WOODS BECAUSE OF QUESTIONS ABOUT DOMESTIC VIOLENCE:

We haven't heard much lately about the alleged domestic violence in the Thanksgiving incident at TIGER WOODS' house. But it's back in the news, thanks to a newly-released report. --The report is from Florida Highway Patrol officers who responded when Tiger tried to take the "scenic route" through his neighborhood in his Escalade and wound up wedged up against a tree. --According to the report, paramedics told the cops that ELIN NORDEGREN wanted to ride to the hospital in the ambulance with her husband. But they DENIED her, because of questions about domestic violence. --This doesn't mean there actually WAS domestic violence involved. Police noted in the report that no one at the scene made that claim, and there were no witnesses to any violence. --Elin was never charged with laying hands . . . or clubs . . . upon her husband. --So it could very well be that the paramedics were just erring on the side of caution and covering their bases.


DEPENDING ON WHO YOU LISTEN TO, TIGER'S MARRIAGE IS FINE . . . OR THE MARRIAGE IS DEAD:

So what's the status of TIGER WOODS and ELIN NORDEGREN'S marriage??? Well, it's actually quite wonderful. Or it's downright dismal. Kinda depends on who you believe. --TMZ says things are going great. Tiger, Elin and the kids have been living as a family for over a week now, and Elin has reportedly been seen around town with, quote, "a rejuvenated demeanor." --On the other hand, Pulitzer Prize candidate "The National Enquirer" says the marriage is, quote, "nonexistent". --They say Tiger even flipped out in a recent therapy session because Elin wanted him to name every one of his WHORES . . . and apologize for each one. --A so-called "source" says, quote, "Tiger blew up. He said, 'I'm not taking this anymore! I've been humbled enough. No More!' --"He's been listening to his friends Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley, who are telling him to stop apologizing and get back to golf. Jordan told him, 'It's time to cut your losses and get back to taking care of YOU.'" --Tiger also . . . allegedly, of course . . . freaked because Elin refused to stand by him during his press conference. He even threatened to bail . . . but was eventually calmed down and talked into going through with it without her.


"MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE" STAR PETER GRAVES HAS PASSED AWAY:

PETER GRAVES . . . the star of the old "Mission: Impossible" TV series . . . was found dead in his home yesterday. He was 83, but would've turned 84 on Thursday. --There's no word on a cause of death yet, but it's believed to be natural causes. --Peter is best known for playing Jim Phelps on both the original "Mission: Impossible" TV series from 1967 to 1973 . . . and again in an "updated" version, which ran from 1988 to 1990. --In between his stints on "Mission: Impossible", Peter starred in "Airplane" and "Airplane 2: The Sequel" as Captain Clarence Oveur. (--He had a ton of classic lines in that movie . . . including the infamous "Roger, Roger . . . what's our vector, Victor" exchange.) --Peter also hosted "Biography" on A&E from 1994 through 2006 . . . and had a recurring role on "7th Heaven" as Reverend Camden's dad, "The Colonel". --Peter Graves was actually born Peter Aurness. His older brother is JAMES ARNESS, star of one of the longest-running TV series of all time, "Gunsmoke". James Arness played Marshall Matt Dillon for 20 YEARS. He'll turn 87 in May.


ERIC ROBERTS HAS JOINED THE CAST OF "SHARKTOPUS"!!!

If there are still six or seven of you who doubt that the upcoming SyFy flick "Sharktopus" will be CRAZY AWESOME, I am about to change your minds. -Because the movie just landed the mega-talents of one ERIC ROBERTS!!! He will be playing the CREATOR OF SHARKTOPUS. --Eric is the brother of JULIA ROBERTS and the father of young EMMA ROBERTS. --Back in the '80s, Eric was AMAZING in such films as "Star 80", "The Pope of Greenwich Village", "Runaway Train" and "Blood Red" . . . the only movie he and Julia ever did together. --But he reached the pinnacle of his career in the 1989 martial arts classic, "Best of the Best" . . . which included the now-legendary "Pop it, Tommy!!!" scene. There was a report going around the World Wide Gossip Machine over the weekend that JOAQUIN PHOENIX was coming out of his so-called retirement from acting in order to play EDGAR ALLEN POE in a movie. --But Joaquin's rep says it's not true.


"ALICE IN WONDERLAND" IS #1 FOR THE SECOND WEEK IN A ROW:

"Alice in Wonderland" didn't have any competition from the weekend's new releases. "Alice" pulled in another $62 million to sit tight at #1, while its closest competition was the new MATT DAMON thriller "Green Zone". That opened at #2 with $14.5 million.

The remainder of the honorees will be unveiled on April 17th and June 5th. (--It's unclear why it's being drawn out . . . but it sure is dramatically boosting the suspense!!!) --On Saturday night, GLAAD named "Brothers & Sisters" its Outstanding Drama Series. WILL "24" BE MOVING TO NBC???

Last week, we heard a rumor that Fox was close to canceling "24" after its current season . . . and that there was a chance it could be picked up by another network. --Well, a so-called "insider" tells "Entertainment Weekly" that there's, quote, "definitely some interest" from NBC. (--Obviously, we'll keep you posted . . . but at least for now, there's been no official word from Fox on "24's" future.)


"SOUTH PARK" WILL SPOOF TIGER WOODS ON WEDNESDAY:

The 13th season of "South Park" wrapped back in November . . . just one week BEFORE the TIGER WOODS scandal broke. But that doesn't mean Tiger will get a free pass from "South Park". --The 14th season premieres Wednesday night, and it's all about Tiger. (--There aren't any other details yet.)

KID ROCK HAS TO FORK OVER $35,000 TO THE MEN WHO CLAIM HE ASSAULTED THEM:

On Friday, a jury ruled that KID ROCK has to fork over $35,000 to the three guys who sued him for allegedly assaulting them when they asked for his autograph in 2006. The jury ruled both sides were at fault. --Kid's lawyer says he isn't happy with the ruling, but has agreed to the settlement . . . which isn't all that bad considering the guys were initially suing for a lot more. (--Some sources say $15 million, others say $8.5 million. Either way, that's a hell of a discount for Kid.)


311 PLAYED A FIVE-HOUR SHOW IN HONOR OF MARCH 11TH:

Last Thursday, 311 played a more than five-hour-long gig in Las Vegas in honor of March 11th, which is 3-11 . . . get it? --The show . . . which featured 60 songs . . . was divided into three sets with brief breaks in between. The band also announced that they'd be touring with THE OFFSPRING this summer. (--The dates have yet to be announced.)


HUNDREDS OF FANS RIOTED OUTSIDE A METALLICA GIG IN COLOMBIA:

Around 160 people were arrested when hundreds of ticket-less fans rioted outside a METALLICA gig in Bogota, Colombia last Wednesday night. Despite the chaos outside, the show went on undisrupted in front of a sold-out crowd of 30,000 people. --The local authorities . . . who were expecting problems . . . deployed 1,500 police officers, riot teams, police trucks and four tanks to the venue, where they were forced to battle the rioters with water cannons and tear gas. --Eight people . . . four fans and four police officers . . . were injured. (--The AP has released footage of this insanity. It's pretty out of control. It looks like it was taken on the set of an action movie. SUPERMODELS RIOTED AT A CANCELLED GUNS N' ROSES SHOW:

GUNS N' ROSES was supposed to perform an "exclusive" show in Brazil on Friday night . . . but for some unknown reason, the band cancelled at the last minute. -According to the "New York Post", this caused, quote, "an A-list crowd of Brazilian billionaires and supermodels to riot at 3:00 A.M." (???) --A so-called "source" described the melee . . . quote, "The audience got angry and started to mount the stage, and fight and destroy everything. It was wild. There were fights everywhere, on the dance floor, in the bathrooms, outside the club. Crazy."




50 CENT'S BODYGUARD ALLEGEDLY ASSAULTED PHOTOGRAPHERS IN DENMARK:

A member of 50 CENT'S security detail has been taken into custody in Denmark . . . for allegedly assaulting some photographers outside the Copenhagen hotel where Fiddy was staying. --A video of the altercation has surfaced. --In the clip, the bodyguard asks the photographers to leave . . . but when they resist, he gets a little physical. He threatens one of the men by putting his hand on his throat . . . and then chases him around a little, and grabs his camera. --It's unclear if any charges have or will be filed, but one of the photographers says he heard the bodyguard will be charged with, quote, "assault, threats and robbery." --He also says, quote, "Earlier in the day this bodyguard told us that 'Danish law doesn't apply to us here because we are Americans.'" WOMEN WHO'VE TAKEN THE PILL ARE 12% LESS LIKELY TO DIE THAN WOMEN WHO'VE NEVER TAKEN IT:

For decades, THE PILL has allowed women to have unprotected sex without worrying about getting pregnant, which is great for both women and men. But that's not the ONLY reason The Pill is so amazing. Listen to this . . . --Researchers at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland wanted to find out how taking The Pill might affect a woman's long-term health. So they observed more than 46,000 women between 1968 and 2008. --What they found is that if a woman has taken The Pill at some point in her life, she's 38% less likely to die of bowel cancer, and 12% less likely to die of all other diseases, than women who've never taken it. --For the record, doctors say they're not sure why women who've taken The Pill tend to live longer than women who haven't. --But they think the synthetic hormones in The Pill that prevent women from getting their "monthly visitor" may somehow help protect against certain diseases. --In other words, guys, if you're trying to convince your girl to go on The Pill, THIS should help you get her on board with the idea. Last week, a group called the Insight Center for Community Economic Development came out with a new study looking at MEDIAN WEALTH by race and gender, and some of their findings are just insane. Check it out: --If you don't include CARS, which are notoriously bad investments . . .--Single white men have a median wealth of $43,800.--Single white women have a median wealth of $41,500.--Single Hispanic men have a median wealth of $9,730.--Single Hispanic women have a median wealth of $120. FOUR THINGS THAT GET YOU AUDITED BY THE I.R.S.:

April 15th is exactly one month away, and every year about one percent of Americans get audited by the I.R.S. Some are chosen randomly, but a lot of people get audited because of something THEY did themselves. --So here's a list of four red flags the IRS looks for when they're deciding who gets audited, and who doesn't . . .

#1.) YOUR INCOME. Obviously there's not much you can do about this one, but if you make over $100,000 a year, your odds of being audited go way up. If you make less than that, your chances of being audited are about 1 in 150. --But if you make OVER $100,000 a year, your odds are 1 in 70. So you're more than TWICE as likely to get picked.

#2.) OVERESTIMATING YOUR DONATIONS. If you gave money to Haiti, you know exactly how much it was. But when you donate clothing to Goodwill, you're basically just guessing. So, here's what to do. --If you're claiming less than $500 in donations, don't worry. The I.R.S. doesn't really care. But if it's MORE than that, make sure you don't value anything at more than 30% of what you paid for it when it was brand new.

#3.) MATH ERRORS. Make sure all the columns add up. Seriously, double check. People get audited every year because they were sloppy with their addition.

#4.) FORGETTING TO SIGN YOUR RETURN. It's a no-brainer, but it happens more than you'd think. And it's like ASKING to be audited. If an I.R.S. agent notices, that's when they start looking for MORE mistakes. (Investopedia.com)
