HOLLYWOOD DIRT OVERFLOW
ELIN NORDEGREN IS *NOT* COMING TO THE MASTERS TOURNAMENT . . . AND MORE DETAILS FROM TIGER'S PRESS CONFERENCE:
TIGER WOODS held his press conference at the Masters Tournament yesterday. And he cleared at least one thing up: ELIN NORDEGREN will NOT be joining him this week in Augusta. --When asked if she'd be around, Tiger said, quote, "Elin is not coming. I'm excited to play this week." --Speaking of the actual sport for a change, Tiger said golf has been bringing him joy again now that he's skank-free . . . quote, "It feels fun again. That's something that's been missing. When you're living a life where you're lying all the time, life's not fun." --That doesn't mean he's just playing for the enjoyment, though. He said, quote, "I'm going to try to go out there and win this thing." --He added, quote, "I haven't done it the right way in a while. I need to be a better man going forward than I have been." --Tiger also made sure to reiterate just how remorseful he is about everything that's happened. He said, quote, "Having to look at myself in a light I never wanted to look at myself . . . that was difficult. --"How far astray I got from my core fundamentals and core morals my mom and dad taught me . . . --". . . The other difficult part over the last few months is just the constant harassment to my family. My wife and kids being photographed everywhere they go, being badgered. That's tough on them, because it's very difficult to heal." --Tiger also said he had to miss his son's first birthday because he was in rehab. He added, quote, "That hurts. That hurts a lot. I vowed I would never miss another one after that. I can't go back to what I was." --One question Tiger wouldn't answer was whether Ambien played a role in his Thanksgiving driving mishap. He said, quote, "It's a closed case." --But he did reveal what injuries he suffered in the accident: A sore neck and a cut lip that required five stitches. --And he admitted that he's taken both Ambien and Vicodin at various times in his career . . . such as when his father died and after some surgeries. --Tiger was asked if he'd ever taken performance-enhancing drugs, which he denied. He added, quote, "I've never taken any illegal drug, ever." --Asked how he could have fooled so many people for so long, Tiger said, quote, "I fooled myself as well. I lied to a lot of people, deceived a lot of people, kept others in the dark, rationalized and even lied to myself. --"When I stripped all of that away and started realizing what I had done, the full magnitude of it, it's pretty brutal." --Tiger played practice rounds both Sunday and yesterday. And at his press conference, he said the fans were good to him. --He said, quote, "The galleries couldn't be nicer. The encouragement I got, it blew me away, to be honest with you. RadarOnline.com says that JESSE JAMES is back in rehab at the Sierra Tucson center in Arizona. --Jesse bolted on Friday . . . just a week into his treatment . . . allegedly because SANDRA BULLOCK wouldn't return his calls. --But a so-called "source" says Jesse realized he needed to go back and finish his treatment. (--We don't know what he's being treated for, but we assume it's SEX ADDICTION.) --Meanwhile, Jesse's attorney, Joe Yanny, is trying once again to make us feel bad for Jesse. --He says, quote, "When all is said and done, he wants the same people who were living in his house before all this happened to still be living there. --"And he wants to save his marriage with the woman he loves more than anything in his life. --"He's] doing as well as he can be. After hunting for Easter eggs with their kids, BRAD PITT and ANGELINA JOLIE hopped a plane Sunday bound for Sarajevo . . . to meet with refugees from that country's civil war in the early '90s. --There's no word if they took the kids with them.
MADONNA WILL REUNITE HER ADOPTED KIDS WITH THEIR BIOLOGICAL FAMILIES IN MALAWI THIS WEEK:
MADONNA is in the African nation of Malawi this week to lay the first brick of her $15 million girls' academy. (--It's scheduled to open sometime next year.) --But she also plans to reunite the two children she adopted from Malawi . . . 5-year-old David and 4-year-old Mercy . . . with their families. --A so-called "source" says, quote, "Madonna pledged to be bringing home David and Mercy once in a while. She is making good on her vow." --Madonna also brought her other two kids . . . 13-year-old Lourdes and 9-year-old Rocco. --As for the brick-laying ceremony . . . which goes down today . . . MICHAEL JACKSON FANS SHOWED UP OUTSIDE A COURT HEARING YESTERDAY ATTENDED BY DR. CONRAD MURRAY:
DR. CONRAD MURRAY attended a court hearing yesterday in his involuntary manslaughter case. And MICHAEL JACKSON'S fans showed up, too. --It was kind of a routine hearing. Nothing much went down. But apparently, the fans were mobilized via the Internet to show up because of Murray's appearance. --And also because several Jacksons came too . . . including Michael's parents JOE and KATHERINE . . . and siblings JANET, JERMAINE and RANDY. --Not surprisingly, Murray was BOOED and HISSED by the crowd. --As for what actually happened inside the courthouse, this is basically it: The judge set up a June 14th hearing . . . at which he'll decide on a date for the preliminary hearing. --Meanwhile, a representative for the California Attorney General's Office asked the judge to hear their motion to strip Murray of his medical license BEFORE the next hearing. A PHOTOGRAPHER IS SUING SEAN PENN FOR ALLEGEDLY THREATENING HIS LIFE:
A paparazzi scumbag is suing SEAN PENN for allegedly threatening to kill him. --Jordan Dawes claims that Penn kicked and punched him and broke his camera outside a Los Angeles market back in October. He said he needed knee surgery as a result of the attack. --And now, in his lawsuit, Dawes claims that Penn told him, quote, "The next time I see you, you will be in a box." (???) --Dawes had filed a complaint with police at the time of the incident. Police are still investigating, and no charges have been filed yet.
ARSENIO HALL'S HOUSEKEEPER IS SUING HIM:
Here's some shocking news: ARSENIO HALL can still afford a housekeeper. --I only know this because she's SUING HIM. --Sonia Martinez . . . who worked for Arsenio from 1998 to last year, says she was unjustly fired after she returned from an injury-related leave of absence. --She also claims she worked overtime for her normal wages and wasn't allowed to take meal breaks. There's no word what she's asking for. (--At the high point of his career back in the late '80s and early '90s, Arsenio was pulling down $12 million a year. He must have saved wisely.) (--His most recent gig was playing Tasty Freeze in the HI-larious blaxploitation parody, "Black Dynamite". If you haven't seen it, rent it TODAY.)
STEVE CARELL WANTS TO DO "ANCHORMAN 2":
We're still probably quite a few years away from "Anchorman 2" . . . mainly because it'll be a nightmare trying to get the cast back together. --But at least they're WILLING. That's according to STEVE CARELL. --He says, quote, "We're all absolutely into it happening. [The first film] was fun. That was really fun to do. [But] they haven't written a script yet . . . I don't think they've [even] decided on a story line yet. --"I spoke to WILL FERRELL about 'Anchorman 2' about two weeks ago. We would all want to do another one."(--The cast that has to be brought back together includes Ferrell, Carell, PAUL RUDD, CHRISTINA APPLEGATE and DAVID KOECHNER . . . not to mention director and co-writer ADAM MCKAY.) --Meanwhile, Carell says there's a script for "Get Smart 2" . . . but no guarantee that it'll be made. --He says, quote, "[It] may or may not be made at some point. I think it turned out well. I think the script is good. It's just a matter of whether [the studio is] going to pull the trigger on it."
NICOLLETTE SHERIDAN IS SUING "DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES" CREATOR MARC CHERRY FOR ASSAULT AND WRONGFUL TERMINATION:
Last year, "Desperate Housewives" killed off NICOLLETTE SHERIDAN'S character, Edie . . . and at the time, there seemed to be some weirdness between Nicollette and the show's creator, Marc Cherry. --Well, as it turns out . . . there WAS some drama. --Yesterday, TMZ reported that Nicollette has sued Cherry for $20 MILLION . . . for assault and battery, gender violence and wrongful termination. Yes . . . ASSAULT. --According to the lawsuit, Nicollette claims that Cherry created a hostile work environment by, quote, "behaving in an extremely abusive and aggressive manner." --And she accuses Cherry of HITTING HER when she questioned something in the script. He allegedly, quote, "took her aside and forcefully hit her with his hand across her face and head." -She says he apologized . . . but when she told ABC about the incident, he fired her. --Here's ABC's response to the lawsuit . . . quote, "While we have yet to see the actual complaint, we investigated similar claims made by Ms. Sheridan last year and found them to be without merit." (--Nicollette took some shots at "Desperate Housewives" on the way out.) (--She said that she thought it had lost its edginess, that she thought her character should have been featured more, and that killing Edie off was, quote, "risky.") (--Cherry explained the move saying that he was under pressure to cut costs, and he thought her character's storylines had been played out.)
GEORGE LUCAS IS DEVELOPING AN ANIMATED "STAR WARS" SERIES . . . FOR LAUGHS:
GEORGE LUCAS' production company, Lucasfilm, is developing a "Star Wars" animated series. It's still in the early stages . . . but we know SETH GREEN will be involved in the project, and that it'll be a COMEDY. --Seth says, quote, "The 'Star Wars' universe is so dense and rich; it's crazy to think that there aren't normal, mundane everyday problems in a world so well-defined. --"And it's even crazier to think of what those problems might be, since it's all set in a galaxy far, far away. What do these characters do when they're not overthrowing Empires?" (--The show hasn't found a network yet.) (--Seth Green is one of the geniuses behind the Cartoon Network's stop-motion show, "Robot Chicken" . . . and they've done several "Star Wars" parodies already. So we can assume he knows what he's doing.) (--Still, "Star Wars" fans do have a history of taking their beloved franchise WAY too seriously.) (--Some of them are still traumatized from "The Star Wars Holiday Special" . . . and that was more than 30 years ago.)
"THE MARRIAGE REF" HAS BEEN PICKED UP FOR ANOTHER SEASON:
NBC has picked up JERRY SEINFELD'S reality show, "The Marriage Ref", for a second season. The show has averaged 7.2 million viewers on Thursday nights. (--That's not a gigantic audience, but it's decent . . . especially considering that it's up roughly 2 million viewers from what "The Jay Leno Show" had been averaging in that spot earlier this season.) --It's unclear if NBC plans on starting the second season in the fall, or if "The Marriage Ref" will continue to be a midseason show like it was this year. --By the way, NBC is also giving second seasons to two other new shows: "Who Do You Think You Are?" and "Minute to Win It".
FOX HAS CANCELED "'TIL DEATH":
It's official: "'Til Death" is over. Fox has confirmed that it will NOT be returning for another season. (--"'Til Death" is currently in the middle of its fourth season.) --Fox also announced that it's pulling "Sons of Tucson" from its schedule . . . even though the show is only four episodes into its run. The eight remaining episodes will air on Saturday nights this summer. "
BOSOM BUDDIES" CO-STARS TOM HANKS AND PETER SCOLARI WILL APPEAR TOGETHER AT THE TV LAND AWARDS:

IF THEY WANT TO WATCH TV, INMATES IN ARIZONA ARE FORCED TO PEDAL A STATIONARY BIKE TO GENERATE THE ELECTRICITY:
Maricopa County, Arizona, is one of the most populated counties in the U.S. It includes Phoenix, Tempe, and Scottsdale. And depending who you ask, Sheriff Joe Arpaio is either the best thing or the worst thing ever to happen to it. --You may have heard of Sheriff Joe before. In 1993, he opened a prison where all the inmates are forced to live in tents. --He's also been in the news for making prisoners wear pink underwear. It's demeaning, and it keeps them from trying to steal it when they get out. --And just last December, six inmates filed lawsuits against Sheriff Joe for piping holiday music through the jail loudspeakers 12 hours a day. --Anyway, Sheriff Joe unveiled his latest tactic in the fight on crime at a women's prison last week; it's something he calls "Pedal Vision." --Basically, Sheriff Joe decided too many inmates were overweight. So now if they want to watch TV, they have to pedal a stationary bike to power it. --The bike generates 12 volts of electricity, and an hour of pedaling equals an hour of TV viewing. --Sheriff Joe says, quote, "We're going to do the best we can in our jail system to help the inmates lose weight, and at the same time, give them the luxury of watching whatever they want to watch on television." Every year, a group called the CQ Press releases something called the Crime Rankings Index. Basically, they look at reported crime rates in six categories: murder, rape, robbery, aggravated assault, burglary, and motor vehicle theft. Then they rank them by state.

#1.) Nevada. This is their seventh straight year at the top of the list.

SMART GIRLS PARTY THE HARDEST:
You probably think educated women with demanding jobs don't go out as much, or party as hard. But according to a new study, that's not the case. --In fact, a new study from the London School of Economics has found that smart girls party the hardest. --Overall, women with college degrees are 86% more likely to drink every day than women without a college education. And they're also more likely to admit they have a drinking problem. --According to a report in a journal called "Social Science and Medicine", quote, "The more educated women are, the more likely they are to drink alcohol on most days and to report having problems due to their drinking patterns. --"The better-educated appear to be the ones who engage the most in problematic patterns of alcohol consumption." --For the record, it's not entirely clear why educated women drink more than uneducated women. But the study's authors point to two possible theories:
#1.) Educated women tend to have children later in life, which allows them to postpone the responsibilities of parenthood and party harder for longer.
#2.) And not only do educated women tend to have more active social lives, they also may work in male-dominated workplaces where there's an established culture of drinking. (Daily Telegraph)
HERE ARE SIX REASONS WHY BIG BOOBS *AREN'T* AWESOME:
Tolly Moseley is a part-time writer for a women's blog called HeartlessDoll.com. --She's also relatively well-endowed in the chest, and recently she wrote a post explaining why big boobs AREN'T awesome. Crazy as it may sound, here are a few of Tolly's reasons:

OLD PEOPLE ARE MORE OPEN-MINDED THAN YOUNGER PEOPLE:
According to a new study from the University of Michigan, older people really ARE wiser than younger people. But maybe not in the way you think . . . --Researchers divided test subjects into three age groups, and told them about made-up conflicts in other countries. Then they asked the participants to predict how things would work out. --What they found is that when dealing with others, older people are more likely to do four crucial things:
#1.) To recognize that different people have different values#2.) To acknowledge that there are uncertainties in any situation#3.) To accept that things change over time#4.) And to acknowledge others' points of view--In other words, older people may not be able to send an email with an attachment . . . and they may not understand how to make a deposit at an ATM machine . . . but they're way better at understanding people. FOUR MYTHS ABOUT VITAMINS:
Americans buy about $9 BILLION worth of vitamins every year. But it turns out we might be wasting our money. Here are four myths about vitamins people still believe.
MYTH #1.) MULTIVITAMINS CAN MAKE UP FOR A BAD DIET. In 2008, people bought more multivitamins than all other vitamins combined. --But according to a recent study of 160,000 women, multivitamins don't make a difference in terms of preventing things like cancer, heart disease, and strokes. --And they don't even help if you have a bad diet. Women who ate unhealthy food were just as likely to develop a serious illness whether they took vitamins or not.
MYTH #2.) VITAMIN C WILL PREVENT A COLD. It's been a theory since the 1930s. But in 2007, researchers collected results from 30 different studies around the world, and they found that it doesn't make much of a difference for most of us. --The only people it DID work for were under high amounts of stress. Marathon runners and soldiers in sub-arctic temperatures were 50 percent less likely to get a cold if they got enough vitamin C.
MYTH #3.) TAKING VITAMINS CAN'T HURT. Researchers were trying to find out if beta-carotene could prevent cancer, but they found the exact opposite. Male smokers who took beta-carotene supplements were MORE likely to get lung cancer. --And other studies have suggested that high doses of folic acid increase your chances of developing colon cancer.
MYTH #4.) VITAMINS PREVENT CANCER. Not really. One study had 5,442 women take either a placebo or a combination of B vitamins. And after seven years, they all had similar rates of cancer and cancer-related death. --And according to research done at Harvard Medical School, vitamin C, vitamin E, and beta-carotene don't lower your risk of cancer either.
BUT HERE'S A VITAMIN THAT *IS* WORTH TAKING . . . VITAMIN D. Your body makes it when sunlight hits your skin. But we don't get enough because we're indoors all day. --Men who don't get enough vitamin D are twice as likely to have a heart attack. TIGER WOODS held his press conference at the Masters Tournament yesterday. And he cleared at least one thing up: ELIN NORDEGREN will NOT be joining him this week in Augusta. --When asked if she'd be around, Tiger said, quote, "Elin is not coming. I'm excited to play this week." --Speaking of the actual sport for a change, Tiger said golf has been bringing him joy again now that he's skank-free . . . quote, "It feels fun again. A paparazzi scumbag is suing SEAN PENN for allegedly threatening to kill him. --Jordan Dawes claims that Penn kicked and punched him and broke his camera outside a Los Angeles market back in October. He said he needed knee surgery as a result of the attack. --And now, in his lawsuit, Dawes claims that Penn told him, quote, "The next time I see you, you will be in a box." (???) --Dawes had filed a complaint with police at the time of the incident. Police are still investigating, and no charges have been filed yet.
ARSENIO HALL'S HOUSEKEEPER IS SUING HIM:
Here's some shocking news: ARSENIO HALL can still afford a housekeeper. --I only know this because she's SUING HIM. --Sonia Martinez . . . who worked for Arsenio from 1998 to last year, says she was unjustly fired after she returned from an injury-related leave of absence. --She also claims she worked overtime for her normal wages and wasn't allowed to take meal breaks. STEVE CARELL WANTS TO DO "ANCHORMAN 2":

That's according to STEVE CARELL. --He says, quote, "We're all absolutely into it happening. [The first film] was fun. That was really fun to do. [But] they haven't written a script yet . . . I don't think they've [even] decided on a story line yet. --"I spoke to WILL FERRELL about 'Anchorman 2' about two weeks ago. NICOLLETTE SHERIDAN IS SUING "DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES" CREATOR MARC CHERRY FOR ASSAULT AND WRONGFUL TERMINATION:
Last year, "Desperate Housewives" killed off NICOLLETTE SHERIDAN'S character, Edie . . . and at the time, there seemed to be some weirdness between Nicollette and the show's creator, Marc Cherry. --Well, as it turns out . . . there WAS some drama. --Yesterday, TMZ reported that Nicollette has sued Cherry for $20 MILLION . . . for assault and battery, gender violence and wrongful termination. Yes . . . ASSAULT. --According to the lawsuit, Nicollette claims that Cherry created a hostile work environment by, quote, "behaving in an extremely abusive and aggressive manner." --And she accuses Cherry of HITTING HER when she questioned something in the script. He allegedly, quote, "took her aside and forcefully hit her with his hand across her face and head." -She says he apologized . . . but when she told ABC about the incident, he fired her. --Here's ABC's response to the lawsuit . . . quote, "While we have yet to see the actual complaint, we investigated similar claims made by Ms. Sheridan last year and found them to be without merit." (--Nicollette took some shots at "Desperate Housewives" on the way out.) GEORGE LUCAS IS DEVELOPING AN ANIMATED "STAR WARS" SERIES . . . FOR LAUGHS:
GEORGE LUCAS' production company, Lucasfilm, is developing a "Star Wars" animated series. It's still in the early stages . . . but we know SETH GREEN will be involved in the project, and that it'll be a COMEDY. --Seth says, quote, "The 'Star Wars' universe is so dense and rich; it's crazy to think that there aren't normal, mundane everyday problems in a world so well-defined. --"And it's even crazier to think of what those problems might be, since it's all set in a galaxy far, far away. What do these characters do when they're not overthrowing Empires?" (--The show hasn't found a network yet.) (--Seth Green is one of the geniuses behind the Cartoon Network's stop-motion show, "Robot Chicken" . . . and they've done several "Star Wars" parodies already. So we can assume he knows what he's doing.) (--Still, "Star Wars" fans do have a history of taking their beloved franchise WAY too seriously.) "THE MARRIAGE REF" HAS BEEN PICKED UP FOR ANOTHER SEASON:
NBC has picked up JERRY SEINFELD'S reality show, "The Marriage Ref", for a second season. The show has averaged 7.2 million viewers on Thursday nights. (--That's not a gigantic audience, but it's decent . . . especially considering that it's up roughly 2 million viewers from what "The Jay Leno Show" had been averaging in that spot earlier this season.) --It's unclear if NBC plans on starting the second season in the fall, or if "The Marriage Ref" will continue to be a midseason show like it was this year. --By the way, NBC is also giving second seasons to two other new shows: "Who Do You Think You Are?" and "Minute to Win It".
FOX HAS CANCELED "'TIL DEATH":
It's official: "'Til Death" is over. Fox has confirmed that it will NOT be returning for another season. (--"'Til Death" is currently in the middle of its fourth season.) --Fox also announced that it's pulling "Sons of Tucson" from its schedule . . . even though the show is only four episodes into its run. The eight remaining episodes will air on Saturday nights this summer. "

Maricopa County, Arizona, is one of the most populated counties in the U.S. It includes Phoenix, Tempe, and Scottsdale. And depending who you ask, Sheriff Joe Arpaio is either the best thing or the worst thing ever to happen to it. --You may have heard of Sheriff Joe before. In 1993, he opened a prison where all the inmates are forced to live in tents. --He's also been in the news for making prisoners wear pink underwear. It's demeaning, and it keeps them from trying to steal it when they get out. --And just last December, six inmates filed lawsuits against Sheriff Joe for piping holiday music through the jail loudspeakers 12 hours a day. --Anyway, Sheriff Joe unveiled his latest tactic in the fight on crime at a women's prison last week; it's something he calls "Pedal Vision." --Basically, Sheriff Joe decided too many inmates were overweight. So now if they want to watch TV, they have to pedal a stationary bike to power it. --The bike generates 12 volts of electricity, and an hour of pedaling equals an hour of TV viewing. --Sheriff Joe says, quote, "We're going to do the best we can in our jail system to help the inmates lose weight, and at the same time, give them the luxury of watching whatever they want to watch on television." SMART GIRLS PARTY THE HARDEST:
You probably think educated women with demanding jobs don't go out as much, or party as hard. But according to a new study, that's not the case. --In fact, a new study from the London School of Economics has found that smart girls party the hardest. --Overall, women with college degrees are 86% more likely to drink every day than women without a college education. And they're also more likely to admit they have a drinking problem. --According to a report in a journal called "Social Science and Medicine", quote, "The more educated women are, the more likely they are to drink alcohol on most days and to report having problems due to their drinking patterns. --"The better-educated appear to be the ones who engage the most in problematic patterns of alcohol consumption." --For the record, it's not entirely clear why educated women drink more than uneducated women. But the study's authors point to two possible theories:
#1.) Educated women tend to have children later in life, which allows them to postpone the responsibilities of parenthood and party harder for longer.
#2.) And not only do educated women tend to have more active social lives, they also may work in male-dominated workplaces where there's an established culture of drinking. (Daily Telegraph)

OLD PEOPLE ARE MORE OPEN-MINDED THAN YOUNGER PEOPLE:
According to a new study from the University of Michigan, older people really ARE wiser than younger people. But maybe not in the way you think . . . --Researchers divided test subjects into three age groups, and told them about made-up conflicts in other countries. Then they asked the participants to predict how things would work out. --What they found is that when dealing with others, older people are more likely to do four crucial things:
#1.) To recognize that different people have different values#2.) To acknowledge that there are uncertainties in any situation#3.) To accept that things change over time#4.) And to acknowledge others' points of view--In other words, older people may not be able to send an email with an attachment . . . and they may not understand how to make a deposit at an ATM machine . . . but they're way better at understanding people. FOUR MYTHS ABOUT VITAMINS:
Americans buy about $9 BILLION worth of vitamins every year. But it turns out we might be wasting our money. Here are four myths about vitamins people still believe.
MYTH #1.) MULTIVITAMINS CAN MAKE UP FOR A BAD DIET. In 2008, people bought more multivitamins than all other vitamins combined. --But according to a recent study of 160,000 women, multivitamins don't make a difference in terms of preventing things like cancer, heart disease, and strokes. --And they don't even help if you have a bad diet. Women who ate unhealthy food were just as likely to develop a serious illness whether they took vitamins or not.
MYTH #2.) VITAMIN C WILL PREVENT A COLD. It's been a theory since the 1930s. But in 2007, researchers collected results from 30 different studies around the world, and they found that it doesn't make much of a difference for most of us. --The only people it DID work for were under high amounts of stress. MYTH #3.) TAKING VITAMINS CAN'T HURT. Researchers were trying to find out if beta-carotene could prevent cancer, but they found the exact opposite. Male smokers who took beta-carotene supplements were MORE likely to get lung cancer. --And other studies have suggested that high doses of folic acid increase your chances of developing colon cancer.
MYTH #4.) VITAMINS PREVENT CANCER. Not really. One study had 5,442 women take either a placebo or a combination of B vitamins. And after seven years, they all had similar rates of cancer and cancer-related death. --And according to research done at Harvard Medical School, vitamin C, vitamin E, and beta-carotene don't lower your risk of cancer either.
BUT HERE'S A VITAMIN THAT *IS* WORTH TAKING . . . VITAMIN D. Your body makes it when sunlight hits your skin. But we don't get enough because we're indoors all day. --Men who don't get enough vitamin D are twice as likely to have a heart attack.
