HOLLYWOOD DIRT OVERFLOW (10-25-11)

Lindsay Lohan Is Posing for "Playboy":

According to TMZ, LINDSAY LOHAN is posing for "Playboy". And she'll get somewhere between $750,000 and a million dollars. --Yesterday E! Online reported how she was in the midst of doing a, quote, "top secret photo shoot" at a Beverly Hills mansion that started yesterday and finishes up today. --They asked her rep if she's doing "Playboy" and he said, quote, "I can neither confirm nor deny at this time." --"Playboy" won't talk either. A rep said, quote, "We don't comment on rumors about who may or may not be posing for the magazine . . . if anything changes, I'll be sure to let you know."

Demi Moore Was on the "Two and a Half Men" Set Friday:

Despite everything that's supposedly going on with their marriage, DEMI MOORE visited ASHTON KUTCHER Friday on the set of "Two and a Half Men" . . . along with her 23-year-old daughter RUMER. --They waited inside Ashton's trailer until he was done filming for the day. --A source says that when Ashton returned to his trailer he, quote, "put his arm around Demi and they acted like a couple. They were talking and smiling at each other. Everything seemed just like normal."

Check Out Video of Jennifer Lopez Tearing Up Onstage:

We now have video of JENNIFER LOPEZ tearing up onstage during her gig in Connecticut on Saturday . . . after singing the song "Until It Beats No More". (--It's pretty underwhelming, but if you're curious, here it is.) --By the way . . . J-Lo claims that the reason she broke down was because she saw her mother in the audience . . . not because of her past boyfriends. She said, quote, "I didn't see her the whole time until this one moment, and I was a bit emotional." --In fact, it appears that the tribute to her exes that we heard about . . . the one where dancers came out dressed like Diddy, Ben Affleck, Cris Judd and Marc Anthony . . . didn't even happen during "Until It Beats No More". --Even though that's what EVERYBODY was initially reporting, there's video that seems to prove the parade of ex-lovers happened during the song "One Love". (--You can see some of it here.)

Robin Williams Got Married Sunday:

ROBIN WILLIAMS got married Sunday in Napa Valley. His new wife is Susan Schneider . . . a graphic designer with a company called Critical Eye Design. He's 60 . . . we're not sure how old she is. But from the photos we've seen, she's probably in her 50's. (--Here are some pictures of them together.) (Us Weekly, People) --According to "Us Weekly", STEVEN SPIELBERG, GEORGE LUCAS and BILLY CRYSTAL were RUMORED to have been there. This is Robin's third marriage. He has three kids . . . ages 19, 22 and 28 . . . from his first two.

Robert Pattinson Worked on His Abs for His "Twilight" Love Scene:

Knowing that he had to shoot a love scene with KRISTEN STEWART in "Breaking Dawn, Part 1", ROBERT PATTINSON finally decided to do a little bodybuilding. --He says, quote, "I had never been so worried about that before, but after seeing how much Taylor [Lautner] works out for the movies, I thought, 'Well, everybody is really going to judge me now.' --"I always tried to think about positions where I could tense the muscles, and suck in my belly." --He adds, quote, "In this movie, I thought, 'Okay, it's the last one, I'm getting a six pack,' and I tried, but it's very hard. I worked out so hard for six months, so after filming the sex scene, the first thing I thought was, 'Time to eat!'"

Are Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama Hooking Up Again?

DEMI LOVATO and WILMER VALDERRAMA are apparently doing the on-again, off-again thing. But Saturday night at a house party thrown by "Family Guy" creator SETH MACFARLANE, they were on-again. --A source says, quote, "They were stealing kisses throughout the night, holding hands and just seemed to enjoy being together . . . They were dirty-dancing to the music, and when they were seated, Wilmer had his hands on Demi's knee the entire time."
Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez Have Adopted a Puppy . . . But Is Its Name "Bailer" or "Baylor":

JUSTIN BIEBER and SELENA GOMEZ visited an animal shelter in Winnipeg, Canada and adopted a puppy. --It's a husky mix. (--Here's a picture.) (E! Online) --Now, everybody online is reporting that the dog's name is "BAILER". But that might not be exactly right. --If you look at Selena in the picture, it appears that she's wearing a sweatshirt from BAYLOR UNIVERSITY . . . which is in Selena's home state of Texas. --So I'm wondering if maybe the dog is named after the school . . . which is spelled "B-a-y-l-o-r" . . . and when some intrepid Internet reporter was TOLD the dog's name, he or she didn't make that connection and just spelled it "B-a-i-l-e-r". (--Either way, Selena and Justin have a dog now. I guess that's all that matters.) (???)

Darrell Hammond from "Saturday Night Live" Was Beaten and Stabbed By His Mom When He was a Kid:

DARRELL HAMMOND spent 14 years on "Saturday Night Live", doing spot-on impressions of tons of celebrities . . . including Bill Clinton, Donald Trump and, most HI-lariously, Sean Connery in those CLASSIC "Celebrity Jeopardy!" skits. --And he always seemed like he'd be a pretty normal guy. But he WASN'T. --When he was a kid, his own mom STABBED, beat him and even subjected him to electrical shocks. In an interview with CNN he said that led to him spending time in a lot of psych wards and added, quote, "I was on as many as seven medications at one time. Doctors didn't know what to do with me." (--Check out the video here.) --Darrell has a new memoir coming out called "God If You're Not Up There, I'm [Effed]" . . . in which he also reveals how that abuse contributed to his eventual drug problems. --Hammond says he got addicted to cocaine in 2002. He went to rehab, but he relapsed and in 2009 he decided to punch things up a little by graduating to crack. --That led to Darrell spending some time in Harlem CRACK DENS. --In the book he writes, quote, "I started adding an obscene amount of cocaine to my binges. I had to be creative about how I did it without other people catching on or letting it interfere with the work. At least too much." --He also drank heavily over the years to numb the pain of his traumatic childhood. He says, quote, "I kept a pint of Remy in my desk at work. The drinking calmed my nerves and quieted the disturbing images that sprang into my head. When drinking didn't work, I cut myself." --Darrell says he got so messed up one time he had to be taken from NBC to the hospital in a straitjacket. He says, quote, "My wife came but I didn't recognize her."

17-Year-Old "Teen Bride" Courtney Stodden And Her 51-Year-Old Husband Got Kicked Out of a Pumpkin Patch:

If 17-year-old "teen bride" COURTNEY STODDEN and her 51-year-old husband DOUG HUTCHISON aren't the creepiest and most annoying couple EVER, then I don't know what it takes to win that title. --Courtney and Doug got kicked out of a PUMPKIN PATCH in the Santa Clarita Valley over the weekend, because other patrons complained about their inappropriate behavior. Not to mention the fact that Courtney was dressed like an EVEN SLUTTIER version of Daisy Duke. --Someone at the Lombardi Pumpkin Patch told E! News, quote, "We try to keep our wholesome reputation. There wasn't anything in particular they were doing . . . just inappropriate." --As fate would have it, another worthless celebrity skank, SHAUNA SAND, also happened to be at the patch slutting it up. (--Here are some pictures of Doug and Courtney . . . as well as Shauna. They were NOT there together, by the way.) (E! Online, Radar Online, Egotastic) --Courtney's response to being kicked out of the pumpkin patch was apparently this Tweet . . . quote, "Have a beautifully blessed Sunday! 'Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgment.' John 7:24."

Dog the Bounty Hunter Got Custody of His Grandson . . . Thanks to Audiotape of the Kid's Dad Beating Him:

DOG THE BOUNTY HUNTER has been granted temporary custody of his 9-year-old grandson Travis Mimms . . . thanks to audiotape of the boy's father, Travis Sr., allegedly beating him. (--You can listen to it here. WARNING!!! There's UNBLEEPED PROFANITY in this clip. It's also disturbing . . . because you can hear the child being hit and his father yelling at him.) --Travis Jr. is the son of Dog's daughter Barbara-Katie Chapman . . . who died in a car accident in 2006. --When Barbara died, Dog and his wife BETH raised Travis Jr., but eventually brought Travis Sr. into his life and relinquished custody to him. But they had a falling out a year ago. --There's no word where the audio came from. --Dog swears he's not out to get Travis Sr. He says, quote, "I don't want to take my grandson's dad away from him. I want him [Travis Sr.] to take parenting classes. We had to get Travis Jr. out of that situation. --"I was beaten by my father, too. But we have to break that cycle."
Ben Affleck and Matt Damon Are Going to Work Together Again:

It was 14 years ago that BEN AFFLECK and MATT DAMON launched themselves onto the A-list with "Good Will Hunting". And now, they're finally going to do another movie together. --According to "GQ" magazine, they're doing a movie about Boston mobster WHITEY BULGER . . . who was arrested over the summer. Matt will star, and Ben will direct. --There's no word when they'll get around to it. They each have at least one project to get to on their own first. Matt will be playing MICHAEL DOUGLAS' gay lover in that "Liberace" movie. He also may direct a movie of his own. --Ben is currently directing a movie called "Argo" . . . and we heard yesterday he MIGHT get the gig directing a movie version of STEPHEN KING'S "The Stand". (--Matt and Ben won the Best Screenplay Oscar for "Good Will Hunting" in 1997 . . . in which they also starred.) (--They've also appeared together in several KEVIN SMITH movies . . . "Dogma", "Chasing Amy", "Jersey Girl" and "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back".)

It's Official: Chord Overstreet Is Returning to "Glee":

The rumors were true: CHORD OVERSTREET is returning to "Glee". -Chord reportedly left "Glee" after last season after he wasn't promoted to being a "series regular." But he must have had a change of heart, because at least for now, he's only back for a "multi-episode arc." --It's unclear how many episodes he's doing, but the first is expected to air in December. --"Glee" creator Ryan Murphy had this to say: Quote, "We love Chord and have always said that we wanted him back. So here's an early Christmas present for all the Gleeks . . . Sam is coming back to McKinley, and just in time for sectionals!"

Lifetime Is Developing a Drama Starring Melanie Griffith:

If you like cable's Lifetime network, you're probably one of the few people who could stomach another TV series with the word "housewife" in the title . . . since you most likely ARE a housewife. --Well, here it goes: Lifetime is developing a new drama called "American Housewife" starring MELANIE GRIFFITH. (--She's also serving as an executive producer, along with her husband ANTONIO BANDERAS.) --For now, all we know about the show is that it's about, quote, "a housewife from an affluent family who's constantly having 'a conversation with an inner voice.'"

"Nick At Nite" Is Developing a Sitcom Starring Scott Baio:

Nickelodeon might be chasing after the success TV Land has had with BETTY WHITE'S "Hot in Cleveland" sitcom . . . because now "Nick At Nite" is developing an original comedy called "Daddy's Home" starring SCOTT BAIO. --Scott is playing, quote, "an actor who . . . after 10 years of starring as America's favorite TV dad . . . becomes a stay-at-home father to honor the deal he made with his soap-star wife so she can return to the limelight." (--Sounds relatable.) --There's no premiere date yet. --Scott hasn't done much on TV recently, aside from some VH1 reality shows and a hilarious guest spot on "Arrested Development" as attorney Bob Loblaw. (--Here's a clip from one of the episodes he appeared on.) (--Of course, Scott was a huge TV star in the late '70s and '80s . . . with "Happy Days", "Joanie Loves Chachi" and "Charles in Charge".)

Did You Know You Can Rent the House "Jersey Shore" Films In?

You may not have realized this, but you can rent out the "Jersey Shore" house in Seaside Heights, New Jersey . . . when they're not filming, of course. --It's $2,500 a night, so it's not cheap . . . but it does have six bedrooms, so it isn't quite as bad if you come with your entourage. For more information, you can hit up www.MTVJerseyShoreHouse.com.

VIDEO GAME QUICK HITS

"Battlefield 3" is Out Today . . . How is it Different From "Call of Duty"?

--"Battlefield 3" (M) . . . on Xbox360, PS3, and the PC. The latest game in the "Battlefield" franchise is a little different from the "Bad Company" games. For starters, you can go prone. This game also reintroduces jets to the vehicle list, and suppressive fire now has the effect of blurring your enemy's vision and reducing their accuracy.

So how does "Battlefield" differ from the "Call of Duty" games? The size of the maps is one big difference. "CoD" maps are geared toward 6-man squads, while "Battlefield" has enormous multiplayer maps that, on the PC version, can handle up to 64 players.

With this one you also get destructible environments, meaning you can blow holes in the wall to make your own door. And then there are the vehicles. "Battlefield" lets you drive tanks and jeeps, or fly the helicopters and jets.

You also have the option to choose between multiple spawn points, and come back from your last death by either spawning at your base or on the front line by selecting any member of your squad. (Trailer) (Multiplayer Gameplay)

By the way, this game launches a new social feature called "Battlelog" with built-in text messaging, which lets you view game statistics, form platoons with your friends, comment on each other's stats, and access all of it from your mobile device. PC users can also use Battlelog to launch the game and join friends who are already playing.

--"Dance Central 2" (T) . . . for the Kinect on the Xbox360. The second game now has simultaneous two player gameplay in both cooperative and competitive modes. It includes music by Lady Gaga, Missy Elliott, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Ciara, and Nicki Minaj. You can check out the full track list here. (Trailer)

--"Disney Universe" (E) . . . on Xbox360, PS3, Wii, and PC. Up to four players can play this adventure game in costumes of favorite characters from such Disney franchises as "Monsters Inc.", "Tron", "Lilo & Stitch", and "WALL-E". (Trailer)

RANDOM STUFF

20% of Women Would Rather Give Up Sex Than Facebook:

Remember this survey when a guy leaves you because he's not sexually satisfied, and you turn to Facebook for comfort. --A new survey by "Cosmopolitan" asked women if they'd rather give up sex or their computer, cell phone, or Facebook. And sex REALLY didn't fare so well. --57% of women would rather have their computer for a week than sex . . . 50% would rather have their cell phone for a week than sex . . . and 20% even said they need Facebook for a week more than they need sex. (SocialHype)

Online Dating is Now Officially a More Popular Way to Meet People Than Bars and Clubs:

There are very, very few people who have EVER liked the bar scene as a place to actually meet someone. And now that there's a viable alternative . . . that's become even clearer. --According to a new survey, online dating is now officially a more popular way to meet people than going out to bars or clubs. --33% of the people surveyed say their most preferred way of meeting someone is through online dating. Only 12.5% say that bars or parties are their most preferred place to meet someone . . . and just 8% say that clubs are their favorite place. --The survey also found that three out of five people say they're currently dating someone or have dated someone they met online. --Only 16% say they would be against meeting someone online. (Mid-Day.com)

A Husband and Wife Catch Each Other Cheating . . . When They Both Take Their Secret Lovers to the Same Hotel:

This sounds made up, and it comes from a newspaper in Kenya we've never heard of. But it's too good to pass up. (--I mean, it's got to be at least as authentic as the doctored birth certificates that come from Kenya, right?) --In a town called Naivasha in southern Kenya, a man named Jeckonia and his wife Truphena were both cheating on each other. Last week, Jeckonia told his wife he had to go to western Kenya for an urgent family event. --They said their goodbyes and he boarded a bus. But it wasn't REALLY to a family event . . . he was actually meeting his mistress at a nearby hotel. --As for his wife . . . she figured it would be a good time for HER to meet up with the guy SHE was having an affair with. They decided to book a hotel room. And you can see where this is going. --They ended up booking a room at the SAME HOTEL. And without realizing it, they ended up booking ADJACENT ROOMS. --Both couples were still in their rooms when Jeckonia decided to call his wife to keep up his story. But when he called her, he heard her RINGTONE through the wall . . . then heard her answer the call. --They opened the doors connecting the adjacent rooms, saw each other, and realized what was going on. Then they apparently decided to go home and talk. (The Standard, Kenya)

Here's a Trick to Keep Kids From Messing Up Your Car on Halloween:

If you have to park your car on the street around Halloween, there's always the chance it'll get hit with EGGS or other mystery substances. And that can do expensive damage to your paint. --So if you can't park in a garage, what should you do? "Consumer Reports" says your best bet is to put on a nice coat of WAX right now . . . approximately one week before Halloween. --The wax will have settled by that point, but it'll still be fresh enough to make egg yolks, silly string, and other crap wash right off. As a side effect, it can also help protect your car from salt, sand, road grime, and other winter driving stuff. (Lifehacker)

Wet Dog Beats Out Stinky Socks as the World's Worst Smell:

This must have been a hell of a battle. In a new survey to determine the WORLD'S WORST SMELL, the scent of a WET DOG just beat out STINKY SOCKS. (--In third place? Gary, Indiana. Just kidding, Gary! Your pollution gave us the JACKSON FIVE.) --Freshly-baked bread was voted the best smell, just ahead of freshly-cooked bacon and newly-washed sheets. (Metro.co.uk)

The McRib is Back . . . Get It Before They Take It Away Again:

It's a duty and a privilege to pass along this piece of life-changing news. The McRib is back. I repeat: The McRib is back. Nationwide. --But, as always, there's a catch. McDonald's STILL refuses to make the McRib a permanent menu item. Once again, it's only back from now until November 14th. So get your fill of sweet, tangy mystery meat ASAP. --The McRib is 500 calories, meaning it's ten calories less than a Quarter Pounder with Cheese or a crispy chicken sandwich, and 40 calories less than a Big Mac. --One other random McRib fact: Even though it's only available seasonally in the U.S., in Germany it's on the menu year-round. Only 9% of Us Actually Read the Nutritional Information on Our Food:

The government can force food manufacturers to put that nutritional info box on their labels . . . but dammit, they can't force us to read them. --In a study at the University of Minnesota, about one-third of people said they ALWAYS check the label for calories. But they didn't realize the researchers were actually monitoring their EYE MOVEMENT, not just listening to what they said. --So even though 33% of people claimed they were checking nutrition facts . . . the researchers found that only 9% of people ACTUALLY looked at them. In other words . . . SHOCKER! Most of us aren't constantly policing our caloric intake. (The Atlantic)

Detroit is the Most Sleep-Deprived City in America, and San Diego is the Most-Rested:

Two groups that don't get mentioned together very often are the Centers for Disease Control and Sleepy's The Mattress Professionals. --But Sleepy's used CDC data on the sleep habits of 350,000 people, and came up with a list of the most sleep-deprived cities in America. --The most sleep-deprived city is Detroit, which, as Sleepy's points out, might be because it's also one of the most dangerous cities in the country.

--The rest of the top five are:

--Birmingham, Alabama, which is also one of the least-healthy cities in the U.S.

--Oklahoma City, which has seen a huge rise in prescription drug abuse.

--New Orleans, which was hit by Hurricane Katrina six years ago. (--Sleepy's stretched for a reason on some of these cities.)

--And New York.

--Sleepy's also pointed out that most of the sleep-deprived cities are east of the Mississippi, and known for crime, recession, or poor health.

--Three of the five most-rested cities are in California. San Diego tops the list, followed by Dallas; Richmond, Virginia; San Jose, and San Francisco. (Marketwatch)
A Guy Climbed into a Child's Park Swing to Win a Bet . . . Then Got Stuck There Overnight:

An unidentified man in Vallejo, California spent nine hours trapped in a little kid's swing last week . . . after trying to win a bet with friends. --The man and his friends were in Blue Rock Springs Park at 9:00 P.M. on Friday night. The friends bet him $100 that he couldn't fit into the kids' swing on the park swingset . . . they were the hard plastic swings with the leg holes. --So the guy LUBED himself up with liquid laundry detergent, and managed to squeeze his legs through the holes in the swing. --But when he tried to get out and collect his winnings, he realized he was STUCK. And his friends LEFT him there in the swing ALL NIGHT. --A park caretaker showed up for work at 6:00 A.M. the next morning, and heard the guy screaming for help. --He called the fire department, and they used a two-step process to free the man from the swing . . . --First they cut the swing chains and took the guy, still wedged into the swing, to the hospital. --Then at the hospital, firefighters used a cast-cutting saw to remove the swing from the guy's legs. He suffered minor injuries but he's fine.

MEATBALL CRIMINALS

Border Patrol Caught a Guy Crossing the Border From Mexico Smuggling 76 Pounds of . . . Baloney?

See, this is smart. Because sure, a few Americans here and there really like DRUGS. But pretty much ALL Americans are rabidly addicted to DELICIOUS DELI MEAT. --On Friday, U.S. Border Patrol agents stopped a man from Sunland Park, New Mexico as he crossed the border from Old Mexico into El Paso, Texas. His name wasn't released. --They stopped his truck when a vehicle scan showed his spare tire was the wrong weight . . . which is a dead giveaway when you're looking for smugglers. --And when they inspected his tires, they found out the scan was accurate. The guy was definitely smuggling contraband into the U.S. His spare tire was jammed full of 76 pounds of . . . BALONEY. --Sweet, Mexican baloney, made from delicious Mexican pork. It supposedly tastes really good, but it's risky to bring it to the U.S., since Mexican pork doesn't have the same certification standards as our pork, and could contain diseases. --The driver was hit with a $1,000 fine and the baloney was confiscated. When an 80-Year-Old Man Dies, His Family Goes Through His Things and Finds . . . Human Remains that are Probably His Ex:

80-year-old Frank Julian of Lewiston, Maine died back on October 1st, so his family has been going through his possessions. --They were going through his unit in one of those public storage facilities last week, and found an unplugged freezer. And when they opened it they found . . . HUMAN REMAINS. --WELL . . . back in July of 1983, when Julian was 52, he was dating a 29-year-old woman named Kitty Wardwell. She disappeared. Julian, along with everyone else, grieved for her. --At the time, he told the cops he left her at a motel in New Hampshire after a fight . . . and never saw her again. --Her case has been open ever since. The police suspected murder, but the trail went cold. The original detectives who worked it retired from the force years ago . . . but it's always remained an open homicide. --Now, the cops think they have the answer. They're waiting for an autopsy on the remains to truly point the finger . . . but they're basically saying they believe Julian killed his girlfriend. (Lewiston Sun Journal)

NAZZY’S VIDEOS OF THE DAY

#1.) Check Out the Most Over-the-Top Halloween Display of 2011:

Someone in Riverside, California went all Clark Griswold with their Halloween decorations this year. There's a video on YouTube called "Halloween Light Show 2011", and it's a huge production. --It starts slow. Then four jack-o-lantern faces light up on the front of the house, and sing the song "This Is Halloween" from "The Nightmare Before Christmas". (--The first face starts talking at :33.)

#2.) A Member of the Grounds Crew at the World Series Showed Off His Dance Moves Between Innings:

If you watched game four of the World Series on Sunday, here's something you didn't see: During a commercial break between innings, a member of the grounds crew showed off his dance moves on the grass between first and second base. --He did the running man, the splits, the worm, and even threw in a cartwheel. Then he sprinted off the field when the inning started. You can check out cell phone video of it on YouTube. (--Search for "Dancing Grounds Crew Member at World Series.")

#3.) A Guy Quit His Job . . . and Had a Brass Band with Him When He Told His Boss:

In case you missed it, a guy in Rhode Island named Joey DeFrancesco may have figured out the most satisfying way to quit a job: Earlier this month, he posted a video on YouTube where he quits after three years at a Renaissance hotel in Providence. -And it's HOW he does it that makes the video so great: He brings along a brass band. And when he tells his boss he's quitting, they break into a song. --It's basically what you'd hear after a touchdown at a college football game. Then Joey walks out the door, and the band follows him. (--Search for "Joey Quits with Brass Band." He quits at 1:58. WARNING: This video includes the S-word.)

Test Your Halloween Candy Knowledge . . . Which Choice is Healthier?

A lot of people scrap their diets on Halloween and just pig out. But if you've still got some will power left, "Real Simple" magazine has a list of Halloween candy choices . . . with info on which one is worse for you. --So let's see how much you know. Here are six different options . . . you decide which one is healthier.

#1.) Skittles or Peanut M&M's? A snack-sized bag of Skittles only has 61 calories, compared to 90 calories in a snack-sized bag of Peanut M&M's. --But peanut M&M's are lower on the glycemic index. That means the sugar gets released into your bloodstream more gradually. Skittles spike your blood sugar, and don't fill you up. So the winner is . . . Peanut M&Ms.

#2.) Reese's Peanut Butter Cups or Snickers? Reese's have more protein. But fun-size Snickers have less fat and 10 fewer calories than one peanut butter cup. So the obvious winner is . . . Snickers.

#3.) Sweet Tarts or Smarties? Sweet Tarts are a little bigger, but even if they were the same size as smarties, they'd still be worse for you. --An entire roll of 15 Smarties only has 25 calories and five grams of sugar. Just eight Sweet Tarts have about 50 calories and 13 grams of sugar. So the winner is . . . Smarties

#4.) Twix or Kit Kat? They're both bad for you, but Twix has more calories and three times as much sodium. So the healthier option is . . . Kit Kat.

#5.) Caramel Apple or Candy Apple? They're not as bad as you think, because underneath all that sugar, you're still eating an apple. --But caramel is made with butter, which adds more calories and fat, so the better choice is . . . the candy apple,

#6.) Tootsie Rolls or Candy Corn? "Real Simple" says it's a tie because they both have artificial colors and flavors. But you have to eat four pieces of candy corn to rack up the same number of calories in one Tootsie Roll. --So really, candy corn is healthier. But the problem is, you never eat ONE piece of candy corn. Or even just four pieces. Twenty million pounds of it are sold every year. So that's why they call it a tie. --But if you're vegan, opt for Tootsie Rolls. Candy corn has gelatin, which is an animal byproduct. Winner overall . . . Tootsie Rolls. (Real Simple)
